I'm still a newbie and struggling for 2nd class tests, but found out a few things I should have done.
It's not complete at all and maybe some are already mentioned elsewhere?

Waht I should have...
After looking up on the official site and the stratics site to plan the most suitable quests and look up mob (armor and weapon) droppings:
-First start in Kamael village and at lvl 3 do the Supply quest (Marcela n.e. gate) and get a complete wooden armor set. A good start.
-Jewelry: do the goblin quest.
-Try to do quests with the most profit and use less soulshots (sell the ones you get money for.
-Until lvl 20 you don't need the best parts of armor/weapon. Look up Def and Atk. Save money for 1st class (you can't exchange items anymore.
-Don't start with the lowest armor in 1st class; buy better (first upper; later lower and then the rest of the armor. You have a little advantage at the beginning with the shadow weapons.
-Do the Orc/dwarven village gatekeepers test to use the tokens later on, when you do the enchant armor D quests.
-It's just EAD +1, so maybe you better sell it in Dion for 60/70K Adena?
-Some quests can better be done when you're a little stronger; it saves scrolls of recovery an lost of XP or even deleveling.
And as I found out on this forum: You can play one character for leveling and another for support (gathering items and have it sent by the warehouse freightman (1K Adena/item))

It's not much, but maybe helpfull for the new ones?

Best regards, Ungaro
