Hey, I am currently not playing...to much school and real life work to do, besides I need a new computer(but who doesn't?) and to be honest I may just switch to Aion when it finally comes out but these facts are beside the point. I know it is really early on to start thinking about it but, lets face it all I can do is think if I can't play right now eh?

So, currently I have been training for a Temple Knight (about lvl 40 now if I can remember back from Christmas), I do really like the class of course I wish I had a bit more fire power but I understand that the game represents facets that should over all be interlinked. By this I mean team work in support of each classes obvious flaws. So currently I was thinking of going sub-Galdiator, I figure the Heavy Armor skills will transfer easily. As this is my first toon and funds are limited this would be a save initially. Secondly some of the TK defencive skills are learned pre 40's so I would still have access to shield supports. Then the added attack skill strangth of the Gladiator would help out, plus I would get to use Duels effectively on lower lvls later on as I get stronger.

Also I was looking at the bishop as a sub. I know this would make me even more of a support role but to be honest I really liked some of the skill options. If/when I do come back I also had plans to start a Spellsinger.

Any suggestions are welcome so long as they are constructive. I know taking on a TK is not favoured by alot of people. But I do like them it was how I did the bata in the beginning.

Thanks!!

I like TK myself...it's my second favourite after Elven Elder (notice the "elf" theme...), shame, then, that they got so gimped as to be next to useless :(. Gladiator is definitely a sensible choise if you are stuck for cash-the heavy armor will transfer, and, a blunt&shield gladi is a viable proposition, even in pvp. The sonic line of skills works with blunts as well as duals (discounting the odd few (TSS), but the all-important Sonic Blaster is usable with a blunt), excepting sonic rage, but, by the time you get there, you should be able to afford duals anyway. Bishop will make you a welcome addition to any party, be it pvp or pve, plus, as you noted, mana burn, debuffs, etc. can be fun/usefull.
SpS with mcrit buffs can be devastating, especially with cancels...wipe their mdef buffs, then nuke them with your incredibly fast C speed+high crit rate...and its an elf xP. Plus, of course, a DC set will cover both Bishop and SpS in terms of armor, and they can use similar weapons...so you'd end up needng 2 armor sets, and 3 weapons, to cover 4 subs...not a bad deal really =]

lol yes I to seem to be having an "elf theme" myself. I do really like them as a class. I think for the SpS I would be better off starting one from scratch, not as a sub but the possibility is there. To be honest Elves and Dark Elves are the only classes I really like from looking over their skill trees and what not. I'd like to eventually make a SR and BD...but those are LONG down the road if I stay like I said previously. Aion just seems to be the middle ground between NA and Asia right now, and I think it would be interesting...It takes a little bit of the Asian grind out and replaces it with some NA fun, just my own opinion though...Funny how I have seemed to become hooked to NCSoft
