new to lineage

been looking forward to playing this game for ages I live in the UK you see and it says lineage 2 chaoctic whatever lol is not out till middle of april so I went to see about buying a serial code to play well my question is whats the difference between lineage 1 and lineage 2 and is it worth getting the code for lineage 1 now and playing or waiting for lineage 2 to come out in the UK because I really want to start playing.

So if someone could let me know would be great thanks

p.s if i do get lineage 1 now can it be upgraded to lineage 2 at a later date I.E moving my char up to number 2

Nope, but lineage2 has like subversions or something "chaotic cronicle1-5", now at the begining of the next month Interlude will come out, that's like "chaotic chronicle 6" and after that there will be chaotic throne..

and when a new version of lineage2 comes out, your character will be on the new version too.


If you want to play lineage2 right now and it's not in shops yet, you could play on a private server till then.. they are free but finding a good private server will be hard...

thanks for that I guess the question is which is better to play lineage 1 or 2 what is the difference between them??? which has more members, is there a big graphics playability factor?

I'd suggest lineage2.. i haven't played lineage1 but from what i've seen lineage2 is a lot better.

why has it only just come out in the uk now then or am i going mad is lineage 2 already here in the uk and its just a update im well confused lol thanks for the advise ill work it out i guess look on ebay maybe

cool thanks for that is there somewhere I can get a trial for lineage 1 or 2 that i can use here in the uk so i can test it out most games normally do?

you can download lineage2 for free from fileplanet.. www.lineage2.com has the direct link, you need to have an account at fileplanet, the registration there IS free too (the "super user" account is not free)

edit: (oh i forgot...) then choose a free private server and you can test the game there... http://l2.hopzone.net/ has lots of servers..
usually every server has a "how to connect" tutorial on their webpage.

Anyway, there are hundreds of free servers out there, most of them are illegal and some are legal. This legal thing issue is still under depate but as many players told me......Who give's a shit. loool

thank you for your time I have decided I will play lineage 2 on chonc 5
but im trying to do is get the client fileplanet is down and ncsoft site only has codes for lineage 1 so i cant seem to find a place to buy a serial code to set up a new account for this game any ideas would be greatful.

Lineage is an international game and you can play from anywhere as long as you have a good PC and internet connection.

got the game downloaded tried following instructions for changing the host file to play on a free server but it doesnt seem to work so im lost on that 1 lol
maybe ill have to play the real server after all lol
