Soul Crystals & Special Ability.

How/where can i get soul crystals? and ive heard tell of leveling them up, how/where do i do this? (if i need to)

Go to Giran Magic Guild and talk to the High Priest NPC "Quest"

There are three kind of Crys which are Red, Blue and Green.

There are many area's to lvl the cry. The High Priest has a list of the area's and what mobs to kill.

You attack a mob normally and before it die's, you click on the Cry to absorb the mob soul, then kill the mob.

Remember to choose the RIGHT cry. For example, If I need to put "Health" special ability on my C grade War Axe, I would need a Green Cry lvl 7.

Note: You should not have more than one cry in your inventory when you lvl it. Otherwise it won't absorb souls. Most players drop 2-3 crys on the floor and lvl the one they have...etc
