View Full Version : The Movie Thread
Hi
Don't we all love to watch a good movie from time to time. I like many movies so here we go:
The Descent 2005 - This movie rocks. If you love horror movies, you have to see this one
Resident Evil 2002 & Resident Evil Apocalypse 2004 - I love both and hardly can wait for the third one.
Aliens 1-5 - Its kind of old but we have to admit it, this movie is simply great. Although I did not like the last one much.
Too many to remember but these are the best one's I can think of for now.

I just watched Dog Soliders 2002. I did not expect much since its old and a warewolf movie, but man this is a really scary movie. If you like 28 days/weeks later, the descent and the cave, then you should watch Dog Soliders.

Totally agree about Dog Soldiers. Not so sure about Troy, I thought Gladiator was better, but I supose Troy was alright in its own way. Kung Fu Hustle rox, as does Star Wars(i like them ALL, despite the bad press episodes 1-3 get), Lord of The Rings too. Harry Potter, I class as a second-rate film-not up to the standards of the films it's compared to, but not an "omg suxorz" film. And my personal favourites: Saving Private Ryan (slightly goory at the beginning >.>) and The Last Samurai. Both chosen because they manage to keep a sense of pathos without resorting to a love scene that runs the whole feel of the thing -.-

Kung Fu Hustle was hilarious XD
I liked the lead actor
I think one of the most gory movies is Saw? Somehow it sickens me but I watched all 3 >_>

LoL, horror movies make me laugh more than scare me..
The only movie that scares me is The Langoliers (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112040/) (1995) and that's not even a horror movie..

English horror movies aren't scary. Those thai and korean ones really freak me out.
I really liked Saw but I wasn't interested in 2 & 3.
Its like you already know what will happen. Some guy will wake up in a room and he will be given a test.....etc
Its the kind of movies that have the same story in all parts. Just different characters.
Saw reminds me of "The Cube" which is also a great movie you know.

Didn't like the first Cube movie so much but Cube 2: Hypercube (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0285492/) (2002) was cool.
