Pictures Forum

I suggest you make a separate forum for lineage pictures and images (Lineage Pictures/Images) and move images, pictures threads from Lineage Movies to Lineage Pictures, Beause i think Lineage Movies Forum is a little missed up and full of pictures :talk:

Why not just change the name from "Lineage 2 Movies" to "Lineage 2 Movies and Pictures" and then everyone who makes a new thread adds [Movie] or [Picture] in front of the thread's title.. And the titles of the existing threads can be edited like this too.

Hmm some threads like the "C6 / Interlude" thread by me.. has both images and movies.. so what would you do with those threads? ;)

I'd say add one of these in front of the thread's name:

[Movie]
[Pictures]
[Movies]
or
[Pictures & Movies]

Ok, here is my point of view, if we make a separate forum for pictures and movies..

1. It will make members and guests find what they are looking for more easily.

2. (Lineage Movies Forum) is an active forum and therefore it should be more organized in my opinion.

3. I think all seeker's of lineage when they use serach engines for serching for lineage stuff's, they search for pictures and movies alot and by leaving the forum mixed, the searcher if he was searching for a picture and he end up with a thread about lineage movie, he might leave, but if he find the exact thing he is looking for, maybe he would register and maybe become an active member.

4. The last reason, most members dont read all rules and i am one of them, so if you said to someone when you open a thread, define your thread if it about pictures or movies, i dont think this would really be helpful.

Well you both make good points.
I think you should just make another one just for pictures, it would make it more easy to find what your looking for.

That's true..

What about threads that have both pictures and movies?

If someone want to post a thread and include both pictures and movies becuase they are related to each others or related to the thread, ofcource he can...

Maybe we should open a poll and see what members are gonna vote vote for :talk:

Hmm.. well I found another bad thing with my idea... i edited the names of the posts created by me under the movie section and when you are here " http://www.lineagechat.com/forumdisplay.php?f=8 " you still see the old thread name. You only see the new name when you open the post.

You can keep your title as it is if you want, but you can change the title completely by clicking on (Thread Tools) choose (Edit Thread) and then (Perform Action) and change the title, it will change it completely.

But you dont have to change if you dont want too, this thread is just to see what everyone think about opening another forum for pictures, thats all.

with the description: For all of your screenshots and movies!

hehe some other sections can use refreshment too.. Like the Character forum, you could make a forum for Classes & Skills and a forum for PvP related questions. Just suggesting.

We have Lineage 2 Movies for that. I just changed it to Media as you suggested. Thanks.

Its good when we have hundreds of members. So its something that needs to be done in the future if the forum keeps growing.
