Two hits 'til death

Hey, everyone.
I have a level 67 Dark Elf Shilien Knight. All my stuff is A Grade and enchanted. However, when I encounter another player, even ones that are 10 levels lower, they absolutely destroy me. It takes one or two hits and I am dead, often they attack for thousands upon thousands of HP. What should I do to....
1) Better resist the strength of these attacks
2)Have the ability to deliver an attack of such a magnitude

I figured I would post it here because of the possibility that my problems may be related to my race/class.

Well, depend's on the character attacking you. Thousands upon thousands of HP is possible if the attacker has his weapon and armor enchanted "say 20+" and fully buffed. So, it wouldn't really matter if he's 10 lvl's higher or lower.

Anyway, more details will help us, give you a better answer.

I figures as much with the enchants, and I'm trying to adress that myself. I've got my swords up to +6 and I'm trying to get some more bank in order to be able to buy another sword in case my attempt to +7 fails.

Someone told me last night in another forum to get buffs, and I'm wondering how to do this. I was told to make my own buffer character to help out my main character, but I don't know how to use one of my characters to buff another, seeing as you can only use one character at one time.

For a majority of the time I've had this game, I;ve mainly just been leveling my character and buying good equipment, now that I realize that it is not good enough, I have to explore all of these things that are new to me.

well, buffs are like support magics, certain classes can cast these on other characters, they improve your stats. if ur playing official, try asking around for buffs from mage type ppl. if ur playing elsewhere, there might be other ways of obtaining buffs. try joining a clan and asking them

I'll probably grind a lot and make some serious bank so I can enchant my weapons and armor a lot.
And I'll probably do what you said, ask around for buffs, maybe let them know I'm willing to pay them.
