Is Assasin a good class for noobs?

Need help again... is assasin a good class? is it a strong character for fast monster killing and item hunt? or PVP? Would anybody agree that an assasin would be a good character especially high level ones? If you happen to have a suggestion, some opinions or assasin guide, pls tell me.. any help would be greatly appreciated! THANKS IN ADVANCE!

With assasin you can choose to become Phantom Ranger (archer) or an Abyss Walker (dagger)

Both are good characters, they hit VERY hard full buffed.

assasin and its lvl 40 class changes are DE, as such, high str. this means an incredibly high dmg output. on the other hand, a low con means u dont wanna get stuck in the middle of a fight, coz ull die fast :P

wat is the best tatoo or dye to use when u have an abyss walker,. equiped with theca set/ cgrade accessories and +3 dark screamer(focus)... any opinion??.. would be greatly appriciated..... thnx!

Dyes for an AW, I usually go +str/-con or -dex (depending on my duties as a clan member and how I feel today >.>) mostly because I like hitting hard with dagger skills xP.
As to which 2nd profession is "better", one is dagger, one is archer, both are fragile and hard hitting, depends how you prefer to play.

for tats i would have to go +str -con but dont touch your dex if u like your crit rate. pr is cool but aw at a high lvl fully buffed can walk around the arena and one hit kill ppl all day. as long as backstab lands you can do an amazing amount of damage. when you get to b grade go doom and then in A grade nm for lvling(becuase slight vr) and maj for pvp becuase u will have such low con eveyone and their mamma can stun u.

Actually, the vampirism you get off of nightmare, while seeming nice, won't keep you alive-you're better to go for more DPS with a DC set-if the mob is dead, it can't be hitting you, can it?...(also, vampirism dosn't work with those oh-so-nice dagger skills)

very true. especially now that the vr has even been nerfed. when i was PW in B grade i got ++dex tats and a zubei light set and lvled in enchanted valley. they were white or lower to me so their land rate was very low and i could lvl there till i was near 60. but not the best pvp set up unlsess your fighing someone who only stun hit hit hit becuase it will be stun miss miss hit. good times

pw has good speed and attack speed but in pvp aw rulez much more :)

PW lethals much more than AW, but, AW hits harder.

in pvp (AW>PW)<TH in my opinion and i'm gonna say SWITCH,TRICK,MIRAGE,DASH>>>>HEX,POWER BREAK,BLINDING BLOW,COUNTERATTACK>>>>ENTANGLE,HIGHEST EVASION,BLINDING BLOW,DODGE but in the end it all comes down to you how much u know about your char,how well u play it and of course in good hands any of these chars can beat another.... this is not the order of power for this classes THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION :)
