View Full Version : What character to choose ? So confused 0.o

I just got the game and I decided to look at all the char and races before I started and what I'm gonna do later on. So far I've chose not to pick dwarf, or human and I don't wanna be someone who only uses magic or buffs either... everything else im stuck in the middle with =( . Also, I'd prefer someone that could level decent and possibly be a good pvper (not required) ... lol, sorry if im asking a lot i just really dont know what im doing right now >.< ... If anyone has suggestions on what I should become it would be much appreciated =) .

You don't want dwarfs or humans or buffers. You also want magic skills but not to relay on it. Hmm, this is a tricky one.

I would go with Warcryer or Overlord. Both are buffers and strong characters when compared to other mages. Also good at pvp and everyone will want you in their clan or party.

Anyway, im not that good at characters but Thorgrimm and Noir are good at it. Lets see what they have to say when they're back online.

guess if it makes it complicated i could try to go with humans if they got something decent =P and thnx for the info =)

You don't want a buffer. This I know for sure.

Anyway, lets go through the human characters.

*Fighter

1 - Knight: (Dark Avenger - Paladin)
These two are tankers. Check out this thread:

2 - Warrior: (Warlord - Gladiator)
These two are damage dealers. I would go with Gladiator.

3 - Rogue: (Treasure Hunter - Hawkeye)
PVP characters but I prefer Hawkeye since he's an archer and can deal with mages from distance.

*Mystic

1 - Wizard (Sorcerer - Necromancer - Warlock)
Necromancer: This is a 100&#37; killing machine but its a mage and always need distance. "Will write a guide about it"

2 - Cleric (Bishop - Prophet)
Bishop is the best healer in the game and Prophet is the best buffer.

well, mainly id prefer something that can level decently, is good at pvp, and does NOT rely on magic/ buffs, and deffinately not a dwarf =P... other than than that i guess ill bite the bullet try it out and take your suggestions =P

Pretty much every class is relying on buffs... but I would rec an orc mage for start. Has it's own buffs, has decent combat skills. I played Warcryer a lot, I like it a lot... Levels pretty fast but you will have to use a pole... But having the WC buffs is not a problem.

Try it on a high rate server, you'll like it. Oh... it sux in PvP. So if you look for PvP, try the other orc mage instead (Overlord).

In the malee category I would deffenetly rec the Dark Avenger, Treasure Hunter or the Hawkeye.

I gave you a few ideas but the last choice is yours ;)

so essentially, u wanna physical fighter class. do u want a melee fighter class or a ranged fighter class? or do u want a bit of each? wanna be the guy that stands in the middle and soaks up the dmg or the guy that sneaks round the edge looking fo the opening? theres lots of options to chose from, even ruling out mages, support classes and humans/dwarves :P

hehe thx, i think ill go against my "never use mages" belief and try out a Warcryer/ Overlord. If I want pvp ill try out a DA/ Treasure since i saw a pvp video of a DA and im all about theivish char =P. Thanks for the advice, now all i need to figure out is how to build em =PP

Maybe a Dark Elven Shilien Knight is something for you?
I'll explain this character for you.

It uses some magic, but it is not a mage, it is a fighter. His magic is that he can summon cubics that help him fight and also he can drain health.
The class is quite strong, and you can kill a lot of other classes with it.
Besides that he can kill, he can also run fast! What do you want more?
(I forgot to mention that a Shillien Knight is also a tank)

When I read your first post, I thought that this character is made for you!

Haha yes! The answer can be simple sometimes! Check the classes on the official website, and with further questions you can come here!

However, I still think that a Shillien Knight will fit you!
You can go to YouTube and look for movies about Shillien Knights, you will be quite amused!
