Lineage in Linux?...:(

Ok first, I´m new here so how can I get a picture in my profil?
And, can anyone tell me how I can play Lineage II in Linux Ubuntu 6.10?What program do I need?:confused:

Hello Powersnork & Welcome to the forum :D

Your english is not bad, you only wrote (profile) wrong, we all make mistakes ;)

To upload a profile picture or an avatar, simply go to (User CP) then click on (Edit Avatar) or (Profile Picture) on the (Settings & Options Menu), upload the picture you want and then Save Changes and your picture will appear, if you have any problem, please pm me or post here.

For Lineage II in Linux Ubuntu 6.10 i will search and ask about it, i will reply here if i find anything.

Hi Powersnork and welcome to the forum.

There are 3 kind of pictures. One for your profile, one for your avatar and one for your signature. You uploaded a pic for your profile and not your avatar. I just uploaded the same pic as your avatar. :)

Regarding your question about linux. I did some reading and most of what I read say that you can't play l2 on a linux server. I might be wrong so if any of you guys know a way to play l2 on linux, please post here :rolleyes:

I know this is an old thread but if someone searches a way to play lineage2 on linux... i tryed cedega v5.2.3 and lineage2 c5 didn't work on it.. it think it used to work a long time ago but when ncsoft invented gameguard it didn't work anymore.

Issues

* As of the most recent update, the game will not work at all now. GameGuard is a utility that has recently been integrated into Lineage II and is supposed to prevent the use of bots and the like. It tries to lockdown various things that Linux will most likely not allow it to do. Ever. Please feel free to correct me and show a way to play L2 in its current state.

One day i'm gonna try wine too, i think that was the name of the prog.. i can download it with my linux updater so that should be free... but i think l2 will not run with wine either.

Hey again, L2 will not run at Wine on Linux I think, only C1 - C4, not C5 and 6.. :(
But if someone know a way, please post it in the forum, or send me a pm..
