Hi I'm Reset GM from W][E and I would like to invite you all to play on W][E servers.

We have 3 High, Low, and Med rate servers. All are pvp/pk servers especially Bartz, its my favorite server and it has 600+ online players.

We are online more then a year now and have some experience in creating servers, and the W][E team is all over 19 years of Age. We plan to stay online forever so you can start now, and don't worry that we will close. The servers are international so players from all countries are welcome to join and all the Gm's speak english, so you will have no trouble contacting us when you need help. You will need to use the W][E forums coz we do not talk to players in game why ? coz we don't have time for chatting when we are online it means we are working on the servers and we do it every day coz there is always something to fix add etc. i will try to give you some info about the servers


The servers are hosted in Germany and all use 100mb line[/SIZE][/FONT]

How to connect with W][E

1. Install your Lineage 2 interlude (and make autoupdate)
2. Now you must replace your host file with this one : Host file (http://files.filefront.com/hostsrar/;7331354;/fileinfo.html/)
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc <--- copy host file here
3. Go to your Lineage2/system and start your game from l2.exe
4. you don't need to make a account it will be auto created from game just type login and pass and server will remember it
5. now you can play on our server

Actually we do sometimes join the servers that get advertised here, then come back and give our opinions/reviews.

Since I can't review all three servers, I joined the easiest and tested my skills, to see how far I can get in a few hours.

The Bratz server is a great pvp/pk server. I managed to get to lvl 80 in less than 2 hours. My character already has top enchanted gear with Arcana Mace 7+ "Safe enchant limit is 4+ according to online players". When I joined there was 64 players, and when I left they were 96 players.

Pkers/PVPers are everywhere. There has been so many attempts to pk me while I was lvl-ing and it all failed. In fact, many players on this server seems to be newbie to the game lineage 2 and think by having top gear with enchanted weapons, they can take anyone down. I proved them wrong with my necromancer at lvl 55, 62, 68,75 but I got my ass kicked at lvl 80 :D

I have been in close contact with 2 PRO players who seem's to have been playing on this server for while. All attempts to pk these 2 guys have failed. Due to the fact they are pro's and way more powered than me. I didn't even get close to killing these 2.

Spawn killing seem's to be normal on this server since I have been pked in my loading screen 2 times in Monastry of Silence. Wallshooting also seems to be normal. No gm's were online when I played for a few hours.

NPC buffer is good but there is no warcryer buffs and chant of victory last for 30 minutes only.

You can become a nobless without the need to do the quest but you have to be lvl 80.

Don't know anything about the other 2 servers since im tired of low/middle rates servers but I do recommand the Bratz server. This is thread is sticky for one week. Thank You.

and as for the dp there is a special scroll to remove it in gm shop etc section

with reference to the server-it dosnt work for me as a pvp server because it has a 2 1/2 lines buff limit which means fighter-type classes cant buff properly, especially the tanks, and thus lose to mage classes all the time

Im not gona say that I know each buff in the game but I do know most of it. First of all, I wasn't really interested in getting all the buffs since I was only doing a quick review to post it here :)

Also, some buffs overwrite other buffs, for example, you asked about PoF which is available but not needed because im buffed with CoV. If I buff with Pof, CoV would be gone. Its like buffing yourself Acumen, then CoF which is the same, unless Acumen lvl is low !

I agree with you about the 2.5 lines of buff limit. It will overpower mages and give them a boost against fighters. The same issue is at themobgamers where the limit is 2.5 lines of buffs. Guess what, %70 of the server are necromancers lol

Its not just about PoF/CoV, coz everyone knows PoF sux >.> but there's PoWind-run speed/crit rate, PoWater-mcrits, and many more besides, CoV isnt the ONLY buff for a mage

prophecy of water,of fire and wind are now availabel on npc buffer along with spirit of magnus which last only 4 minutes(the others 30).the main main problem of the sever is that they dont have the rates of the skils correctly.root lvl9 works easily,stun lvl4 of treasure hunter by using a bow,!!!!,slow lvl1 of soultakers,mage and warrior bane have 100% succes rate,sleep very quick reusedelay(immediate) and fast casting,and more importantly many buffs or skills dont work(like on ierophant,phoenix knigth and many many others.its dissapointing cause i have been playing on white eagle bartz and kain since summer of 2006.thats why 60 to 70 % of players are soultakers

How do you guys survive that well when people try to PK you =( I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS get pked. In a matter of seconds.

Final review: Good points (lets be optomistic) uhm....its interlude?...its 2kx?....cant think of any more :S. Bad points: buff limit (already mentioned-even with a gimped buff setthat would make me suck in pvp, my shilien templar lost buffs when i used reflect arrow (woot -.-)), geodata (i fell through the floor 3 times in Elven Village (the ramp you run up to get the elf spawn point to town), Cruma Tower (entrance to the first room on the left), Stakato Nest (upon exiting)), Donators that pk lowbies in Aden cemetry of all places (LOL, I escaped because I was kiting mobs anyway) and absolutely no form of protection at the farming areas-you can pk here as much as you like (so what's the point in having the farming areas? might as well farm at the back of a high level area......). Conclusion: bad pvp server.
Suggestions: Fix the buff limit (not only on kain, on bartz too), fix geodata, make it worthwile for newbies to go to the farming areas-introduce op guards/peace zone/autojail system.

ps: Didn't try the mid/low rate as those are not my type of server, maybe someone else can review them.

BTW, I already replaced the host file but when I open L2.exe, my private server still comes up.. Is it because some of the private server's patch files are integrated into the Lineage II file?

Yes, this is because you have used a patcher. Run the NCsoft updater before changing your hosts.

"Buy a brick" is the shop, "I sing and dance and.." is the buffer, and "take me with you" is the global gatekeeper (its annoying when servers add these npcs under different names >.>)

The owner should take this problem seriosly and upgrade the server asap !last time we made hardware update we jumped from 300 to 600 online so it doubled we didn't expect this so we need to turn off geo coz it uses same amount of resources as the server and as you know we run on l2j not on off so there are some limits we thinking about opening second high rate coz its impossible for one machine to handle so many players and as for the machines we update them once every few months last machine update was 2 months ago so we cant do it asap even if we do it will not give much coz its l2j a emulator !

And you get a system message "you need to complete the mirmir's elixir quest before adding a subclass" or to that effect.

To play on new kain download that patch http://white-eagle.mine.nu/update.zip follow the instructions included in readme file. You can play on other our servers with this patch as well, it won't make any damage to your client.

2: Everyone is permitted to express their opinions with reguard to (almost) anything, and their opinions should be treated as valid unless you can find proof to the contrary.
3: Reset, some of your points in your last post would, in my opinion, discourage people from joining your server-I'm not one to shout "fascist", but "democracy=chaos"...well...
