dual sword

i buy a new bastard sword then i was planning to make a dual sword. is it posible to make a dual sword using the weapon from ms. queen and the one that i bought?

I think you can only combine "real" weapons to make duals-ie: not shadow weapons or those specal "cannot be dropped or traded" weapons.
